If it does hurt, it is very mild and can always be adjusted. Most of the time, they are not felt at all.

What does my first visit look like?
You can complete your paperwork at home or in the office if you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. You must text (908)509-6432 so you can be buzzed in. When entering the Phenix Salon Suites, turn left and Suite 321 is the last quite on your left hand side towards the end of the hallway. Please wear loose clothing so you can roll up your pants, sleeves and try to eat before coming in for the treatment.
What will happen during my acupuncture session?
Erica will go over the form you filled out prior to your appointment and will ask additional questions.
Is acupuncture safe?
Acupuncture has been used to help the body for more than 3,000 years. The pins are very thin, solid, sterile and single use only and disposed of.
How many treatments does it take?
Similar to other therapies or medications it depends or the length of time you have had these symptoms, the severity, your overall health and the complexity of it. Everyone has a different response to acupuncture and may take more or less time to respond to the treatments. Clinical experience has shown you will see benefits and changes within the first 10 treatments.
